ABOUT YACHT
Nostalgia is a yearning devotion to the past. It is derived from the Greek words ‘return’ (nòstos) and pain (algos). We hope each crew will remember their trip with Nostalgia. The yacht was built in 2017 and transferred to Rhodes. It has 3 cabins and 2 bathrooms. It is equipped with new 2025 (Newport PRO Radial) rolling mainsail and rolling genoa , bow-thruster and solar panel. Further details can be found at ‘equipment’ and ‘specifications’.

Charter Conditions
Here there is an outline of our charter conditions:
- All prices quoted are valid in Euro and for one week.
- Yachts are provided to the client regularly on Saturdays until 5 pm. They should be returned to the port next Friday by 5 p.m. and released on Saturday at 9 a.m.
- Water tanks will be filled by our crew for free.
- Costs for fuel and berths are clients’ expenses. The fuel tank must be full upon return.
- A list of participants (crew-list), copies of the licences and the arrival time should be submitted at least one week before delivering the yacht.
Terms of Payment & Deposit
- Within 10 days from the date of booking confirmation advance payment of 50% by bank transfer.
- Balance payment is due 4 weeks prior to embarkation by bank transfer.
- Security deposit for yachts: Less than 40 feet 2.000 €; more than 40 feet and less than 50 feet 2.500 € and more than 50 feet and catamarans 3.000 €.
- The deposit fee will cover damages or loss of the yacht and her equipment during the charter.
Cancellation Policy
- Till 90 days before embarkation 30% of the total charter fee will be charged.
- Till 30 days before embarkation 50% of the total charter fee will be charged.
- Less than 30 days before embarkation 100% of the total charter fee will be charged unless the client provides a replacement charterer.
- If payments are not made by the due dates the company reserves the right to cancel the booking and charter the yacht to a third party. The company has the right to claim the agreed cancellation fees from the client: till 90 days 30%, till 30 days 50% and less than 30 days 100%.
Insurance
- The chartered yacht and its equipment are insured against fire, sea damages or risks of collision, third party liability and total loss.
- Excluded are damages caused by gross negligence or wilful acting.
- Basically the charterer is only liable with the amount of his deposit of 2.000 € or up to 3.000 € for bigger boats.
- Every skipper knows that a crew’s harmony is severely disturbed if the skipper or a crew member causes a damage, but all have to share paying for it. You can avoid this risk taking out a bonding insurance. So the paid deposit is insured. But here too those damages are excluded, that are caused by gross negligence or wilful acting. Furthermore damages like loosing equipment, things going overboard or simple theft.

- We are of the opinion that a Deposit insurance for chartered yachts and/or an Extended Skipper Third-Party Liability Insurance is absolutely essential.
- We strongly recommend the Skipper & Crew Package, which includes the most important insurances.
- Last but not least a Travel Cancellation Expenses Insurance for Chartered Yachts or an Extended Skipper Third-Party Liability Insurance might not be uninteresting for one or another.
